Desborough School announced it would welcome girls into its sixth form from the following year, ending 114 years of a male-only pupil environment. School officials said the change in policy would improve the dynamics of the sixth form for teachers and pupils. 2013: Bard times were enjoyed by pupils from 11 schools who took part in a Shakespeare festival.
