That was probably from before the factory was built.”Some of Watson’s other finds include a City of London dog tag from 1924, a piece of an old lantern, pieces of copper, old coins, tokens and shards of pottery. Watson posted pictures of his treasures in a London Facebook group, with the goal of learning more about the pieces. Now that he’s scoped out McCormick’s, Watson said he will use a map of London from the 1800s to find other old properties that no longer exist and pick up searches there.
