Renowned journalist Naeem Hanif revealed a major fraud on Pakistan Idol.Pakistan Idol was actually a Pakistani version of the American show ‘American Idol’ which is also very popular in India as Indian Idol where it has had more than a dozen seasons so far. The first season of Pakistan Idol was aired almost a decade ago and then it was restarted on a large scale a decade later. He said that this is not Pakistan Idol but ‘Fraud Idol’, all the vendors of the show, from graphics to lights, no one has been paid. He claimed that the famous judges and artists, including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Fawad Khan, are owed about Rs 500 million. Naeem Hanif said that the show has become a disgrace, which is why its finale was neither recorded nor broadcast, even Ahsan Qureshi was contacted to convince him to pay and withdraw the case.
