Alhaji Nasiru Sule-Garo, a member of the House of Representatives representing Gwarzo/Kabo Federal Constituency, Kano State, has defeated his younger brother to clinch the House of Representatives ticket on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. Sule-Garo, who is an elder brother to Kwankwaso’s wife, defeated his sibling, Faruk Sule-Garo in the party’s primary election. Announcing the result of the election, the returning officer, Dr Salisu Muhammadu Tudunkaya, said Nasiru polled 173 votes to defeat his brother, Faruk who got 12 votes. The result is thus: Faruk Sule-Garo got 12 votes while Nasiru Sule-Garo got 173 votes. “With this result, Nasiru Sule-Garo is the winner,” Tudunkaya said.
