Saanich police are investigating after a report of a woman being sexually assaulted at a friend's home in the Gordon Head neighbourhood. Police said the attack happened before 2 a.m. Sunday in the 3900-block of Wolf Street, in a home where the 22-year-old woman was staying with friends. They said a man entered the home brandishing a knife and assaulted the woman. The suspect is described as tall with short blond hair, an athletic build and was possibly wearing glasses. The woman is recovering with the support of her friends and victim services, police said.
