Reps pass bill seeking for establishment of Fed College of Agric in Osun

The House of Representatives on Wednesday passed to second reading a bill seeking for the establishment of a Federal College of Agriculture in Ijebu-Ijesha, Osun State. Wole Oke (PDP-Osun), is entitled: “A Bill for An Act to Provide for Establishment of Federal College of Agriculture, Ijebu-Ijesha, and for related matters”. Hon Oke stated that he had brought the same Bill in the 8th Assembly, but it didn’t scale the process to third reading, hence the need to reintroduce it. The lawmakers also passed several bills, including a piece of legislation to Establish Federal Medical Centre, Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa, Kano State; and related matters. The House also passed a bill to repeal the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria and reenact the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria Bill, to Regulate Training and Practice of Pharmacy, and for related matters.
