Reduced speed limits and traffic delays can be expected during resealing work on parts of State Highway 6 near Queenstown over the next fortnight. NZ Transport Agency contractors will reseal the section between the Shotover Country and Five Mile roundabouts, beginning on Sunday night. The work will continue for two nights between 8pm and 6am, before changing to a 6am to 8pm shift on weekdays from Monday. NZTA senior network manager John Jarvis said two-way traffic would be maintained during most of the work, but motorists would need to take care and observe temporary speed limits. Resealing work on SH6 near the bungy bridge, and by the Lake Hayes outlet, would take place from Monday until Wednesday.
