Respect the culture of your host communities, NYSC Tells Corps Members


Anambra state coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Chief Kehinde Aremu, has called on corps members deployed to Anambra State and other parts of the country to respect the culture and Traditions of their host communities, as Nigerians are known of culture and Traditions. He said about 100 corps members are already been posted to drive the Penetration’ of the Smart Job Initiative, a flagship digital entrepreneurship project of the Anambra state government. He urged them to strive to uphold the tenets of the NYSC Service with humility, as the move into the nooks and crannies of Anambra state. He thanked the state governor, Willie Obiano, for his faith, financial and emotional investment in the NYSC and in Nigerian Youths generally with a promise to repay in multiple folds. Governor of the state, Chief Willie Obiano, who was represented by the Secretary to the state government, Prof. Solo Chukwubelu, said the government was optimistic of the corps members’ readiness to positively elevate the fortunes of the state with their talents, education and high sense of responsibility.
