Azon comes from the Spanish word "corazon", meaning heart, and is presumably intended to signal the heart-and-soul vibe the place is striving for. But the restaurant seems to be aiming more upmarket than down home, even if it misses more often than it hits. It transpired that they are not, which in 2017 is verging on unforgivable, I think, in any restaurant with aspirations to being half-decent.
