The last moments of a police officer who collapsed and died shortly after leaving his girlfriend's house on Saturday, July 24, have been revealed. Kuresoi Sub-County Police Commander Henry Nyaranga stated that Kurgat had driven him to and from Nakuru on Friday and was in good health. "He said he was held up and could not make it," Randich told the Nation. Kurgat's wife Sophie Kurgat stated that the deceased had visited their home just three days before he met his death. On the fateful day, Kurgat visited his girlfriend, Lucy Chepkorir, who resided 1 kilometre North West of Olenguruone Police Station in Kuresoi South, Nakuru County.
