Afternoon teas are returning to the Reverend Forbes Homestead and Pioneer Hospital, the city’s oldest home, for July and August. The afternoon teas begin at 2 p.m. throughout the summer on the following Wednesdays and Thursdays:July: 19, 20, 26 and 27August: 2 and 3The afternoon teas in August are specially themed for the Coronation of King Charles, which took place earlier this year, and feature a raffle for a coronation prize basket. Afternoon tea costs $5 and includes a large scone (choice of plain, raisin or cheese), jam, butter and choice of tea, coffee or juice.
