Fiona Foster (Julia Hills) is trying to get her gloriously vague husband Frank (Stuart Fox) out of the door to work and distract this distractable man from asking questions about her very late night out. When friendly Frank and suspicious Teresa each invite the Featherstones to dinner on consecutive nights, everything is thrown into jeopardy. We also loved how Julia Hills visibly crumples whenever it seems Frank might circumlocute to the truth, very enjoyable. The second half sees everything satisfyingly resolved and I noticed that someone had even smoothed out the annoying knot on one of the curly telephone cords. How The Other Half Loves is on at The Mill at Sonning until Saturday September 23.
