Review: iD at Auckland's Civic TheatrePatrick Lazic Wooden chairs, splaying legs, and gritty city-scapes featured frequently throughout the production. Rival gangs in a gritty city met on the Civic's stage last night, in the body-busting and West Side Story-inspired iD. Patrick Lazic Cirque Eloize's West Side Story-esque iD had its opening night on Wednesday - part of the Auckland Arts Festival. Full disclosure: the lingering and lofty standards set by La Soiree at The Spiegeltent - which I saw the night before iD - have probably ruined me for show reviewing duties. iD is running at the Civic Theatre until March 12 as part of the Auckland Arts Festival.
