Richard Keogh was sacked by Derby last monthRichard Keogh has lodged a formal appeal with Derby County challenging the club's decision to terminate his contract, Sky Sports News understands. Keogh has taken legal advice and is following a process supported by the PFA. He also feels he has been treated differently to Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett - both of whom have been retained by Derby, despite their convictions for drink-driving. Keogh was not charged with any criminal offence but was sacked by Derby. Keogh had 18 months remaining on his Derby contract before it was terminated.
