A stretch of Rideau Street was closed to traffic Sunday after a "small sinkhole" opened up near where a much larger hole swallowed the street this summer. "While in the midst of construction, a small sinkhole appeared on Rideau Street," Gibbons said in a statement. This is where the Rideau Street sinkhole opened in early June. Rideau Street has been closed to all vehicles but buses, taxis and delivery vehicles since August 2015 for construction.
