DHAKA, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) - A fluent half-century from opener Rifat Sanjid Shihab gave Odommo a winning start to the CCDM T20 Challenge Cup as they edged Odityo team past by four wickets at National Cricket Ground in Purbachal, Dhaka today. Shadat Hridoy claimed 3-13 to play an important bowling, which eventually enabled Odommo to restrict Oditiyo for a meager 125-7. Rifat Sanjid then hit 35 ball-52 with six fours and two sixes to anchor the chase, guiding the side to victory in 19.1 overs as Odommo reached 131-6. He almost single-handedly crafted the chase amid the wickets tumbling around him as Oditiyo sensed a victory by defending the paltry total. After taking three wickets with the bowling, Hridoy made 18 for second-best individual knock for Odommo.
