Unable to deal with the sustained aggression from Ripon, Noakhalia managed to put up just 124-8 after being sent to bat first. Rajshahi cantered to the victory in 17.5 overs, reaching 125-4 and left Noakhali win-less after their third match in the tournament. Yasir Ali was also batting on 23 when Rajshahi confirmed the victory. Earlier fellow pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib gave Ripon ably support with 2-31. After Tanzim broke through the top order, Ripon applied pressure in middle overs, effectively ruining Noakhali's aspiration to recover from the early collapse.
