Speaking on Channel One TV on Sunday, January 25, Amaliba emphasised that road safety remains a shared responsibility, with drivers playing the most critical role in preventing crashes. According to him, while Ghana continues to grapple with poor road conditions in some areas, responsible driving habits could have significantly reduced the number of accidents recorded during the year. “So, over-speeding, which is the doing of the driver, is what contributes to most of the accidents and road crashes on our roads. Amaliba further linked the rise in road accidents to the limited implementation of the Stay Alive Campaign in 2025.
