DHAKA, Jan 25, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad has returned hometoday following a successful campaign in the Big Bash League (BBL) inAustralia. In his maiden BBL season, Rishad who played for Hobart Hurricanes took 15wickets from 11 innings, finishing as the joint-leading wicket-taker amongstthe spinners in the tournament. However, Rishad's performance was highly praised by the cricket pundits andthe Australian supports. He took the wickets like the batters of Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne,Mohammad Rizwan, Jake Fraser-McGurk (twice), Matt Renshaw, Moises Henriques,Aaron Hardie and others. The BBL performance was the continuation of his superb performance in PSLearlier last year where he claimed 12 wickets in eight innings, playing forLahore Qalandars.
