RIVERS State yesterday began a three-day fasting and prayer for peaceful general elections in the state. Preaching at the programme, Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie said prayers and fasting will advance healing in the state. While praying for the good of the state, he said anyone who does not love Rivers State will not prosper in it. In his remarks, Rivers State Governor said that the programme was organised strictly for the peace of the state. The governor urged Rivers people to always pray for the state as it is in the interest of the state for peace to reign.
