The gunfight took place early on Thursday, confirmed MM Murshed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chhagalnaiya police station, reports UNB. Murshed said: "Acting on a tip-off that two groups of robbers were exchanging gunfire, police went to Betaga Project area early on Thursday. Police recovered Sabuj's body from the spot, and arrested two other robbers shot while they were trying to flee the scene. The injured robbers, Palash and Faruk, have been admitted to Feni Sadar Hospital.
