Rodri has ruled out a future transfer to Saudi Arabia like other big names from Europe, as he discussed his future after leaving Manchester City. The importance of midfielder Rodri was highlighted recently when City lost all three games as he served a three-match suspension for a foolish red card last month. Under contract at the Etihad until 2027, Rodri's reply suggested he was only focussed on City. I move a lot for sporting challenges; I want to win and I came here for that and I am very happy." Effectively ruling out a move to Saudi Arabia, he replied: "It is very difficult for me to be attracted to a challenge like Arabia because I have sporting ambitions."
