Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) rescued the volunteer from a hilly area inside the 16 number Shafiullah Kata Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya upazila early Thursday. The volunteer, Md Hosain, a resident of Ukhiya upazila, was working at the camp when he was abducted on Wednesday evening by a group of Rohingya miscreants. The APBn arrested Md Taher, 32, head boatman of the camp, in this connection. Police are yet to disclose any reason behind the abduction of the CPP volunteer.
