Following a pair of strong performances in the opening two weeks of Dancing with the Stars, Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins has emerged as the early favourite for this year’s Glitterball Trophy. Cummins said she isn’t letting the favourites tag have an effect on her experience of the competition. When the call came from RTÉ asking her to take part in Dancing with the Stars, Cummins was able to pause her apprenticeship to focus her energy on the competition and keep up with her Rose duties. Cummins said she is excited for movie week but the dance will be outside of her comfort zone. “The first week was intense and emotional, last week was more fun and energetic, and then this week is very princessy and cute and dainty.
