Rowing team comes face-to-face with whales in Atlantic


Greg Collins from Thame in Oxfordshire was among the rowing team who encountered the whales at the midway point of a 3,000-mile World's Toughest Row adventure. He was rowing alongside Will Towning Elliot Collins and Chris Betts. The videos show the men being surrounded by about five whales surfacing and diving alongside their boat. The team are competing in the World's Toughest Row which is a transatlantic unassisted rowing race in which teams travel roughly 3,000 miles from the Canary Islands to Antigua.
