Roxas-linked PNP officials placed on floating statusSEVERAL senior officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP), including two recently linked by the President to illegal drugs, have been placed on floating status since Director General Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa took over as PNP chief on July 1, 2016, a senior police official disclosed on Monday. Another Camp Crame source confirmed that these officials were indeed placed on floating status. Placed on floating status were Directors Generoso Cerbo Jr., Jonathan Miano, Joel Pagdilao, Danilo Pelisco and Chief Supt. “They have been relieved from their posts and placed on floating status since ‘Bato’ took over the helm of the PNP last July 1, 2016,” said the source. “They are all now assigned to the office of the PNP Chief waiting to be given new assignments,” the senior police source said.
