The chief executive of Windsor and Maidenhead council has said the authority has not cried wolf over potential bankruptcy as he discussed the draft budget at a meeting this week. Many councillors both commended and raised concerns over papers, referring to a lack of consideration of social housing and why section 106 monies were being used for maintenance instead of infrastructure.
