RuPaul has wiped both his Instagram and Twitter accounts as of Thursday, in an abrupt move that has left fans scratching their heads and wondering why. Additionally, RuPaul (born RuPaul Andre Charles) has completely deleted his Twitter account, which previously had over 1 million followers. Currently, Ru is still appearing regularly as the host of season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, airing weekly on VH1. Others, however, were quick to point out that Drag Race alum Kameron Michaels has also emptied his Instagram and Twitter accounts – seemingly simultaneously. The timing suggests that RuPaul's removal of social media might be part of some sort of coordinated effort, either alone or with Michaels.
