I know I didn't go to college and only have a Leaving Cert to my name, but I still shouldn’t have missed the construction of Ffos Las and the closure of Towcester in last weekend's article. Research is what it is called, and next year I will endeavour to do better. However, HRI rubber-stamped the gist of my column before it even went to print, issuing a late-afternoon press release on the last Friday before Christmas.
