Money goes to research, supportMoney raised goes to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, where it's used to fund breast cancer research, as well as support for breast cancer patients and survivors. "I think a long time ago, we didn't really recognize women with breast cancer," she said. Tittaferrante said anyone still interested in making a donation can do so at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's website. The Thunder Bay Run for the Cure is one of dozens that take place across Canada each year.
