Rory Anderson, along with friends John Irving and Arron Newton, took on the demanding 4x4x48 challenge, which involves running four miles every four hours for 48 hours. The challenge began on Friday, December 12, and finished on Sunday, December 14. The money will go to Cash for Kids and the Towers' Christmas Toy Appeal, helping ensure local children wake up to presents on Christmas morning. Speaking about the challenge, Rory said the motivation behind it was simple: “This Christmas, hundreds of thousands of children across the UK are living in poverty. The runners thanked everyone who donated, shared messages of support, or encouraged them along the way, saying the community backing played a huge part in their success.
