Photo: APMumbai: The Indian rupee on Wednesday hit over 20-month high against the US dollar, tracking the gains in the global equity markets. At 2pm, the rupee was trading at 64.08 a dollar, up 0.32% from its Tuesday’s close of 64.28. The rupee opened at 64.16 a dollar and touched a high of 63.93, a level last seen on 10 August 2015.
