The committee - which is due to publish a delayed report on alleged Russian interference in UK politics - hasn't met since before the 2019 election. N0 10 has insisted that Mr Johnson cleared the report to be published in December, but it could not be released until the committee was reformed. On Wednesday, MPs on the Petitions Committee called on the PM to take action after 100,000 people signed a petition on the issue. Asked about the Russia report a spokesperson for the PM said: "We would like to see it published as soon as possible. "From a No10 point of view, the report is cleared for publication, so it will be a decision for the committee."
