Deputy President William Ruto allies have offered a peace deal to President Uhuru Kenyatta after they defeated Jubilee in several by-elections in the past months. Uhuru's party further lost the parliamentary seat to the People's Empowerment Party (PEP) led by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria. However, the peace deal was attached with various conditions they wanted to be fulfilled and issues addressed. Secondly, the Jubilee MP urged Uhuru to listen to the voice of the common mwananchi and unite the divided nation. Uhuru was reported to have blamed Tuju, Murathe and senior government officials for bungling the Juja and Rurii by-elections.
