The Rwandan embassy in Morocco was inaugurated at a ceremony on Wednesday Jan. 15 in Rabat in an official ceremony attended by Rwandan Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe, and Moroccan Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita. The opening of the Rwandan embassy comes after Morocco opened its diplomatic representation in Kigali in April 2017. The Rwandan official stressed that this embassy will promote the exchange of visits between the peoples of the two countries. For his part, Nasser Bourita said the opening of the Rwandan embassy confirms the positive dynamics witnessed by bilateral relations. This ad-hoc committee will help speed up the implementation of the signed agreements and explore new avenues for expanding cooperation ties.
