Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who had thrown nine interceptions in the last two games, was efficient if unspectacular against Pittsburgh, at least for the first half. But after trailing by only 14-13 at halftime, the Jets were shut out in the second half for the second time in three weeks. The second half we stalled pretty good. Bell caught nine passes for 88 yards and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was 34 of 47 for 380 passing yards and four touchdowns. But the Jets (1-4) crossed midfield just once in the second half, and it was a brief visit.
