Dagenham have since reported that Inih responded well to treatment in hospital and is feeling much better. They also thanked Maidenhead United’s club therapist, Max Bangura and club doctor Mandip Singh for their immediate response to the incident. Inih Effiong certainly played his part in making Saturday’s game a contest right to the final whistle. While assistant boss Ryan Peter’s thoughts were very much with Inih and his family, he did also take some time to talk to the Advertiser about Maidenhead’s performance. Against both Fylde and Hartlepool, we were good in the first half but not so good in the second.
