Malaysia will end the day with 111 gold medals. The contingent's target of gold medals will be achieved at the Nilai Velodrome in Negri Sembilan tonight. The track cyclists confirmed at least three out the four gold medals at stake on the second day of competition. Fatehah Mustapa had earlier eased past Thai rival Watinee Luekajorn while Farina Shawati Mohd Adnan defeated Indonesian veteran Uyun Muzizah to confirm the women's sprint gold medal will go to Malaysia. It will also be an all-Malaysian affair in the men's 4km individual pursuit final between Nur Aiman Mohd Zariff and Eiman Firdaus Mohd Zamri.
