The province's police watchdog is investigating a collision in Etobicoke Saturday evening after a man fled a Toronto police traffic stop. A man and a woman in the SUV were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries, the SIU added. Toronto paramedics told CBC Toronto Sunday they transported an adult male in serious, life-threatening condition. Peel paramedics told CBC Toronto they transported one person in serious, non-life threatening condition. The SIU investigates incidents involving police and civilians that have resulted in serious injury, death or allegations of sexual assault.
