KARACHI: Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) on Saturday rejected reports that the centre’s founder and philanthropist Dr Adib Rizvi had passed away. President of the Transplant Society of Pakistan, Dr Rizvi is one of the pioneers of transplant surgery in Pakistan. In 2005 SIUT Trust was created as a charitable trust for the benefit of the public aiming to provide medical facilities and financial assistance to those who are at the end stage of renal ailments.
