Now the SNP are planning to bring a vote at the Scottish Parliament, with First Minister Humza Yousaf urging Scottish Labour MSPs to "stand firm" and back the motion. And Scottish Labour accused their left-wing rivals of playing "petty politics" with the conflict in the Middle East, saying: "This is a profoundly disappointing approach from the SNP." Scottish Labour said: "Since last Thursday the SNP and Scottish Labour have been working on both a motion and amendment which represented the broad consensus across the parliament. An immediate ceasefire is the only way to end the tragic deaths of civilians.
