The Scottish Government has been urged to adopt tough new restrictions on football fans who force their way into games without a ticket. A crackdown is being launched down south in the wake of the chaos at the Euro 2020 final at Wembley. In Scotland, fans have been known to 'double up' at the turnstile or even charge the gate. One Scottish football supporter said: "When you were a kid, you would just get lifted over the turnstile. You could even slip £20 to the guy on the turnstile to look the other way.
