Sabah DAP: Criticism of Penang-born Loh Ee Eng's nomination is merely sour grapes - Nation

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah DAP has defended their choice of selecting Penang-born Loh Ee Eng (pic) as a nominated Sabah assemblyman, accusing critics of having a case of sour grapes. Sabah DAP secretary Chan Fong Hin said that those raising the issue are just being malicious and sore that they are unable to achieve such a position. Defending the appointment, Chan said that Loh was chosen by Sabah DAP as he was a senior party official holding the Sabah DAP treasurer post and had vast experience in experience in state politics, among others. "This all goes to show that Sabah DAP has never neglected the natives of Sabah and at the same time, we also give recognition to the Chinese community," Chan said.
