Neville had only been in the job a matter of minutes when fans started to suggest that he might already be in for the chop. The former Manchester United and Everton utility man, 41, will take charge until the end of the 2021 UEFA Women’s Championship. He wrote: "When I said morning men I thought the women would of [sic] been busy preparing breakfast/getting kids ready/making the beds-sorry morning women!" Neville was approached by Moyes last November to join the backroom set-up at West Ham but declined the opportunity.
