Mona Inn was erected next to the famous route near Llangefni in the early 19th century. "Mona Inn is a traditional, two-storey dwelling house, comprising stone brick walls and a slate roof. Both Mona Inn and Mona Isaf are designated historic assets and are Grade II listed. Mona Inn and Mona Isaf form a traditional 19th century coaching inn, which is of great historical value due to its ties with the creation of the London to Holyhead road, designed by Thomas Telford.
