The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is investigating the death of a young man in a workplace accident on a farm in Co Limerick. Gardaí and emergency services responded to the accident, which occurred near Dromcolliher on Saturday afternoon. This is the second death to occur on a farm in Co Limerick in the space of a week. He was found dead later on, and emergency services were contacted. A spokesperson for the HSA said there were 24 farm related fatalities in 2025 — all of which were investigated.
