Salleh Said: WSJ should contest in next Malaysian election - Nation

PETALING JAYA: The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) should submit candidates for the next General Election says Communications and Multimedia minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak (pic). In a blogpost on Tuesday he said that the WSJ has become "desperate and obsessive". He added that the American newspaper has abandoned fact-based principles of independent journalism to become nothing better than a partisan blog. Salleh added that WSJ was feeding people info for its own selfish objectives"Just like Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his proxies who want to influence Malaysia's political process and dictate who should form our government. Salleh then labelled WSJ as "neocon media" who pushed for the disastrous foreign interventions in Muslim countries such as Iraq.
