Sallie Geary Owen OBITUARYOWEN, Sallie Geary (Elizabeth Geary) A resident of Rohnert Park since 1989, died peacefully in her sleep on November 12, 2005. She later studied at the Cornish School of Fine Arts in Seattle, where she studied drama. During World War II she worked at Boeing Aircraft Co. in Seattle, where she met and married Henry M. Owen. After the war, they lived in New York City, where she started her career as a fashion advisor. Sallie studied history and French at Sonoma State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 1995 at the age of 77!
