Sam Huff, shown here in 2012, is scheduled to return to his Middleburg home while his partner and daughter settle their dispute over who should care for him. “The best I can say is, I’m glad he’s coming home,” said Carol Holden, Huff’s domestic and business partner with whom he has lived for 30 years. On March 31, Huff’s daughter, Catherine Huff, picked him up from his horse farm in Middleburg. Catherine never returned Huff to Middleburg, and he has lived with Catherine in her Alexandria home since. “The family has been able to amicably resolve their differences, and Sam Huff should be returning to Huff Farm shortly,” the sides said in a joint statement issued by their lawyers.
