Itoje - who, like Warburton, has captained the Lions - shouted at Smith, telling him, "Don't argue with me, take the three." "I have never seen Maro like that before," wrote Warburton. The pressure soon told in terms of Itoje, with the England captain sent to the sin-bin after conceding two silly penalties in quick succession.
